Eleanor J. Mckie

ALBANY- Eleanor J. McKie, 77, of Albany, passed away on Wednesday October 15, 2008 at St. Peters Hospital. She was born in Oneida, NY and was the daughter of the late William P. and Lydia Hatch Jacobs.
Eleanor was a bookkeeper with New York State Department of Tax & Finance for several years. She had been active with the Salvation Army in Albany.
She is the wife of the late David J. McKie Jr. She is the sister of Ruth (Roland) Urben and Martha (Ralph) Lloyd of Oneida, NY and the late James and Wesley Jacobs. Eleanor is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:00 at Newcomer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service on Saturday from 9 to 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
