Eleanor Mazzo

Niskayuna – Eleanor "Nikki" Mazzo, 90, passed away at her residence on Thursday March 27, 2014. Born in Michigan, she is the daughter of the late Albert and Josephine Opella.

Eleanor was an extreme lover of animals and also enjoyed gardening and landscaping. She was predeceased by her husband Edward in 2001.

Eleanor is survived by her daughters Bonnye Steuart Kugler of Niskayuna , Judy Steuart Cosman and husband Gary of Williamsburg, VA. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren; Melissa Anne Isherwood, and husband Richard , Samantha Foote, Edward V. Mazzo Jr. and wife Diana, Christopher Kugler, Aaron Cosman, Gary Cosman, Evan Cosman, and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Eleanor will be held on Monday May 19th at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. A reception to celebrate Eleanor's life will be held following the cemetery at her daughter Bonnye's house.
