Eleanor P. Jansen, 85, passed away at her home Friday December 26, 2008 surrounded by her loving family.
Eleanor was born in Greenwich, NY the daughter of the late Cortland and Grace Pollack. Along with her husband, James who predeceased her in 1996, she co-owned of Jansen's Bottle Gas Company. Eleanor was a fashion model and graduate from Mildred Elley Business College. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star and member of the White Shrine.
Eleanor was the devoted and loving Mother of Cindy Swan and Debbie Erickson, loving
Gram of James, Chris and many others and a loving friend to all.
The funeral service will be held Monday 1:00pm at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will precede the service from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Memory's Garden Cemetery.
