GUILDERLAND- Eleanor J. Petraitis, 94, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018.
Eleanor was born in Du Bois, PA on January 11, 1924 to the late Enoch and Anastasia Stassell. She was the beloved wife of the late John Petraitis, and together they raised one daughter. Eleanor will be remembered as a loving mother and home maker. She loved to garden, sew, and take care of her grandkids.
She is predeceased by her husband, John, her daughter, Bernice Rivers, and her brothers, Leonard and Daniel Stassell.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Richard J. Rivers Jr., and Denise (John) Fry, and her son-in-law, Richard J. Rivers Sr.
A graveside service will be held at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, 1389 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12205, on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 10:00am.
