Elena B. Prezio

Elena B Prezio, of Troy, NY, who originally grew up in Pittstown, NY, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024 after a brief illness. She was born on December 12, 1941 in Troy, NY, the daughter of the late Frank Prezio and Florence Barnes Prezio.

Shortly after her graduation from Troy High School at age 17, she became employed as a secretary for the Athletic Department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where she worked for over 43 years before retiring in June 2003 as an Administrative Assistant. Her interests included Animal Rights, world news and politics, gardening, long walks, television movies, entertaining at home, and serving as Building Manager at her former residence.

She is survived by one brother, Franklyn B. Prezio of Watervliet, NY; her beloved dog, Heidi; plus several loving cousins and friends.

She was the sister of the late Ronald F. Prezio, a career veteran of the U.S. Air Force and half-sister of the late Ann Martin of Milford, NH. She was formerly married to the late Raymundo A. Rivero, of Mexico City, Mexico.

In honoring Elena's wishes, there will be no services.
