Elenore H. Sheldon

ALBANY- Elenore H. Sheldon, 90, of Albany, passed away on Thursday September 1, 2011 at the Inn of Community Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of Harriett Bullinger and the late Oren Hoyt. Elenore was an employment counselor with NYS Department of Labor for many years. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and playing bridge.
Elenore is the beloved mother of George Sheldon Jr. of Ballston Lake, Jeffrey Sheldon of Bennington, VT and the late Nancy Carmichael. She is the sister of Jane Gentzler and the late Ann Boyko. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday morning at 10:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Elenore H. Sheldon.
