Elinore Lawyer

VOORHEESVILLE – Elinore R. Lawyer, 88, of Voorheesville, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 16, 2012 at the Inn of Community Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital.
She was born in Cleveland, OH and was the daughter of the late Phillip and Effie Georgia. Elinore was predeceased in 2006 by her husband, Clinton (Buster) Lawyer. She worked in food service for many years and retired from the Voorheesvile Central Schools. Elinore enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is the beloved mother of Phyllis (Joseph) Mazone, Clinton J. Lawyer Jr., Janet (Robert) Shultes, Pauline Lawyer (Spencer Flansburg), Esther (George) Klopfer and the late William and Frances Lawyer. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday from 11 am to 12 noon at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A Memorial Service will be offered at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Elinore R. Lawyer.
