Guilderland- Elizabeth A. Arcolano, 78, passed away on August 20, 2015 at The Hospice Inn in Albany, surrounded by her loving family.
The daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Schuch) Herbst, Elizabeth was born on September 3, 1936 In Albany, NY. Elizabeth retired from BOCES in Colonie where she worked as a secretary.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving children: Frank (Colleen) Arcolano of Altamont, Mary (Mike) Golden of East Berne and Lisa (Ed) Maynard of Scotia; her cherished grandchildren: Nicholas (Joy) Arcolano, Kelly (Brian) Spence, Beth (Mo) Golden, Tara Golden, Matt Golden, Amber Maynard and Brooke Maynard; her cherished great-grandchildren: Maxwell, Geneva, Brewer, Tyler, Christian and Mason.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Thomas F. Arcolano.
Visitation will be held from 10am to 12 pm on Tuesday, August 25 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be held at 12 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
