Elizabeth Andres

GUILDERLAND- Elizabeth H. Andres, 84, of Guilderland, passed away on Thursday October 12, 2006 at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born in Guilderland and a resident of the town for most of her life.
Elizabeth was the daughter of the late William and Anna Tice. She was predeceased in 2003 by her husband William E. Andres Sr. Mrs. Andres was a homemaker and had worked in the kitchen at the Westmere Elementary School.
She is the beloved mother of William E. Andres Jr. (Jozyann), Terrance Andres (Jeanne) and Alan Andres (Sharon). Sister of Ruth Thrasher of Oriskany, NY and the late June LaDuke, William, Eugene and Edward Tice. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 9:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to Christ the King Church, Westmere at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. The parish family of Christ the King will gather at 5:30pm for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308 in memory of Elizabeth H. Andres.
