Colonie – Elizabeth Baker, 84, passed away peacefully at Albany County Nursing Home on Tuesday August 12, 2014. Born in Bethlehem, she is the daughter of the late Peter and May Snyder.
Elizabeth loved to spend time with her family especially her beloved grandchildren.
Elizabeth is survived by the love of her life and husband of 66 years, Gilbert W. Baker; her children, Carol (Tommy) Sleasman, Gilbert (Carol) Baker, George (Laura) Baker, Debra (Tom) Baker and Donna (Joe) La Joy. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and daughter-in-laws Lorrie Baker and Lois Rosenzweig.
A graveside service will be held for Elizabeth on Saturday August 16th at 11:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth's name to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205.
