Elizabeth H. Brown fondly known as "Betty", 89, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2021 at St. Peter's Hospital with family by her side.
Betty was born in Schenectady on September 13, 1931 and is the daughter of the late Felix and Edith Micheli.

Betty was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Betty loved taking care of her grandchildren, baking everyone's favorite baked good for their birthdays. Betty enjoyed sewing clothes, quilting, and decorating cakes for special occasions. Betty loved vacationing with family in Cape Cod, Maine and Florida. She enjoyed camping at Wells and Alpine Lake with family and friends. Special trips include Nashville and Branson Missouri to experience the country music she so enjoyed listening to. You could always find her at her grandchildren's sporting events and other activities cheering them on. Her favorite job was working at a bakery decorating cakes and making yummy baked goods. Betty was an active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and served communion for the Sunday service.

Betty is predeceased by Bert, her beloved husband of 68 years. She is also predeceased by her siblings, Francis Micheli and Katherine Doak.

She is survived by her children, Debra Grigoleit (Greg), Donna Lamb (Garth), Brian Brown (Laurel Rigney), Bonnie Sindel (Karl); grandchildren, Meagan, Lance, Brandon, Jeremy, Justin, Adam, Ryan, Tyler, Brooke; brothers William and Felix, several great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Peter's Hospital for the loving care they provided.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church 103 S. Reynolds St., Scotia, NY 12302
