Elizabeth Deitz

DELANSON-Elizabeth M. (Dannenberg) Deitz, 48, of Delanson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany surrounded by her loving husband and family members.
Elizabeth was born September 29, 1965 in Niskayuna, the daughter of Katharine K. Dannenberg of Niskayuna and Gil Dannenberg of Queensbury. Beth graduated from Niskayuna High School in 1983, where she participated in field hockey and was on the Ski team. She continued her education at Lehigh University and SUNY Albany majoring in Business Education, graduating with honors.
Beth had once been business manager at Amsterdam Chrysler where she met and subsequently married the general manager, David Deitz. Together they enjoyed vacationing in Outer Banks, NC.
In addition to her parents, Beth is survived by her husband David; a son Douglas Hutchins of Rotterdam; a daughter Kristina Hutchins of Delanson; step daughter Lauren Wirth and her husband Tim of Schwenksville, PA; two brothers James C. Dannenberg and his wife Larissa of Cranford, NJ and Michael D. Dannenberg and his wife Melissa of Burnt Hills and nieces and nephews Katie, David, Scott, Oksana, Kalyna.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Keim, Dr. Heckman, Dr. Orris and the nurses at St. Peter's Hospital for the care that Beth received.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM.
