ALBANY, NY – Elizabeth F. "Betty" Morisseau, 71, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Arlene Moraway. Betty lived in Albany for all of her life. She was a communicant of All Saints Catholic Church. Betty enjoyed traveling with her late husband and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Morisseau. Betty is the devoted mother of Robert A. Morisseau and his wife, Kim of Albany, Brian S. Morisseau and his wife, Diane of Schenectady and Brenda J. Bach and her husband, David of Colonie. She is the loving sister of Constance (Robert) Bareis, Marlene Bobowski and Melvin (Carol) Moraway. Betty is the cherished grandmother of Amanda and Carter. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church (formerly St. Margaret Mary) in Albany. Calling hours will be Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Betty Morisseau.
