SARATOGA-Elizabeth "Betty" Bosher Normandin, 92, was called home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 7th, 2014.
Betty was born in Albany on November 30th, 1921 to James and Elizabeth Bosher.
Betty is predeceased by her husband,Francis Henry, her parents, and her two sisters; Mildred Ryan, and Jane VanDuren.
Betty was the devoted mother of her son, Wayne (Jane), her four grandsons; Travis (Jennifer), Trevor (Tori), Trent (Crickett), and Troy (Karin), her eight great-grandchildren; Hunter, Justin, Bethany, Lane, Melanie, Audrey, Asher, and Christopher, and several nieces and nephews.
Betty was employed at Eddy's Diner for many years and then, because of her love of style, worked as an associate at Carl Co.
Betty was an avid Yankee and Jeff Gordon Fan. She also loved to sing dance, and was a life time member of the V.F.W., Post 420.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Fatima Unit at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center for the excellent care they provided.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, on October 12th, 2014 at 4:00pm- 7:00pm. A memorial service will be held at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home on Monday, October 13th, 2014, at 10am.
