Albany- Elizabeth Jane Geitner Moore, 92, passed away September 23rd 2015. Elizabeth was born on July 1st, 1923 at St. Mary's Hospital in Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Matilda Geitner. Elizabeth was one of eight children.
She was the loving wife of Henry A. Moore who passed away September 13th 1997.
Elizabeth is survived by her two daughters; Sandra J. O'Rourke (Dennis) of Germantown, MD and Amy M. Moore of Loudonville. She is also survived by her two siblings; Gloria J. Della Rocco (James) of Melrose, NY and Robert H. Geitner of Pleasanton, CA.
Also left to remember Elizabeth is her granddaughter Laura E. Hammond (Brian) of Charlotte, NC and her great grandchildren Christina Rayburn and Johnathan Hammond. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be held Tuesday, September 29th 2015 from 11:00am-12:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Albany,NY 12205. A graveside service will follow the calling hours at Albany Rural Cemetery.
