Elizabeth A. Kasper

SCHENECTADY - Elizabeth A. (Stewart) Kasper, 64 , passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her loving husband of 26 years, Jacob Kasper.

Beth was a lifelong caregiver, not only to the patients she came in contact with during her 32 years as nurse at Daughters of Sarah, but everyone who knew her. Her compassion, kindness and generous spirit impacted everyone she met. She spent many years working for Mercy House in Albany where she truly cherished the opportunity to help women and children. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all those who had the privilege to know and love her. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her loving children, Peter DeMasi Jr., Joe and Kerri DeMasi, Ricky Wilmer, Franklin Kasper, Getl Leia Kasper and Gerald Kasper; her cherished grandchildren, Halie DeMasi, Joe DeMasi Jr., Jayden Costello, Adriana Primett, Ronald Dean, Sossa Starshine, Amanda Saltzman Middleton, Matthew Kasper, Alana Kasper and several great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Elizabeth's passion for giving, please consider memorial contributions to the Mercy House Women's Home, 12 St Joseph's Terrace, Albany, NY 12210.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 12-2pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. A Service to Celebrate Elizabeth's Life will begin at 2pm.
