Elizabeth Ann Kochian
October 1, 1938 — July 2, 2017
Latham - Elizabeth "Betty" Kochian , 78, peacefully passed away after courageously battling cancer for her sixth time, on Sunday, July 2, 2017. Betty was the daughter of the late John and Hazel Gow, and was the beloved wife to the late Charles Kochian.
Betty was very devoted to her family, friends, and especially their dogs. Every week, Betty played Bingo with her granddaughter, Gina, and her best friend of 50 years, Diane.
Betty will be forever missed by her grandchildren, Gina (Jason) Kubik, and Andrew Kochian, daughter in law, Rayann Kochian, niece, Gail (Jim) Kralick, and her sisters, including Clara Maloney, along with many nieces, nephews, family, and loving friends.
In addition to her late husband, Betty is predeceased by her son, Joseph Kochian, brother in law, Mike Maloney, and several siblings.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, on Saturday, July 8th, 2017, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00 pm, with the burial to take place privately by the family at a later date in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Latham.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Betty's name to the Muscular Dystrophy Association: Northeastern Chapter; 1 MARCUS BOULEVARD #203, ALBANY, NY 12205
