MALTA – Elizabeth M. Arzberger, 93, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy, surrounded by her loving family.
Elizabeth was born on June 10, 1916 in Brooklyn and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mamie (Mittenhuber) Gagg. She enjoyed cooking and sewing, was an avid Yankees fan and occasionally could be found contributing to area casinos. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family.
Elizabeth is the mother of Warren (Terry) Arzberger of Malta, Kenneth (Carol) Arzberger of Albany, Gary (Lorraine) Arzberger of NYC and the late George Arzberger. She is the mother-in-law of Phyllis Arzberger. She is the grandmother of James, Christopher, Gary, Tracy, Jeffrey, David, Sherry and the late Heather. She is also the great-grandmother of Sarah, Christian, Andrew, Genevieve and Desiree. She was predeceased by her husband, George V. Arzberger and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Chapel of Clifton Park. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.at the church. Interment will be at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Chapel of Clifton Park, 996 Main Street, Clifton Park, NY 12065 in memory of Elizabeth Arzberger.
