Elizabeth M. Greenwood

SCHENECTADY – Elizabeth M. Greenwood, 92, became absent from the body and present with the LORD on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth Steines Kelly.

Along with her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Phillip C. Greenwood, and brother, Dr. William G. Kelly.

She will be missed by her children Joan Morhous, Phillip Greenwood, Ronald Greenwood and Theodore Armstrong; grandchildren Jeffery Morhous, Jennifer (Morhous) Bareis, Tina (Greenwood) Kulesa, Cindy (Greenwood) Doucet and Daniel Parks; several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Schenectady Memorial Park, 566 Giffords Church Road, Rotterdam. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Schenectady City Mission, 425 Hamilton Street, Schenectady, NY 12305, Schenectady Salvation Army, 222 Lafayette St, Schenectady, NY, 12305 or Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 7 Culligan Road, Scotia, NY 12302 in Betty's name.
