Elizabeth M.Hawkins Laeyt

GLOVERSVILLE - Elizabeth M. Hawkins Laeyt, 86, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Elizabeth was born on October 10, 1920 in Lake Winola, PA and was the daughter of the late Franklin Ray and Ruth Mahon Clover. She was a women's fine accessories buyer for The Carl Company until she retired. She enjoyed crosswords, gardening and traveling.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Judith (Nelson) Peters of Northville; her granddaughter, Laural (Tom Parsley) Allen of Gloversville; her grandson, Nelson Peters of Northville; her great grandchildren, Amanda and Paul Allen and Brandon Johnson; her siblings, Jane E. Frey of Fayetteville, NY, Frank (Grace) Clover of Denver, CO, William (Paula) Clover of Oklahoma City, OK and sister-in-law, Elva Clover of Rogers, AR. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael A. Laeyt in 1982 and her brother, Robert Clover.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155 – south of Central Ave.).
