Elizabeth Mclaughlin

SCHENECTADY – Elizabeth M. McLaughlin, 76, passed away suddenly on February 26, 2006 at Ellis Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after being stricken at her home. She was born in Albany and was an Albany resident for most of her life. Mrs. McLaughlin worked for Price Chopper, from where she retired. Elizabeth was an avid Neil Diamond fan and loved attending his live concerts. She loved life and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Betty will now join her beloved late husband, Michael J. McLaughlin. She is the devoted mother of Kathleen L. (Frank) Horn, Ronald T. (Erin) McLaughlin and Thomas H. (Catherine) McLaughlin. She is the beloved sister of Jack (Mary) Barr and Harry, Bonnie and Bridget Barr. She is the cherished grandmother of twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her beloved Boston Terrier, "Dugan." Betty's family would like to thank the maintenance staff at Southgate Apts. for caring and looking out for their mother.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
