Elizabeth O'Toole

COLONIE- Elizabeth (Betty) C. O'Toole, 95, of Colonie passed away on Saturday August 20, 2005 at Albany Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late William and Margaret McCann Conlon.
Betty was a Colonie resident since 1956. She worked as waitress at Woolferts Roost Country Club and at the former Standard Coffee Shop in Albany for many years. She was a member of the Colonie Village and Midway Fire Company Ladies Auxiliaries. Betty was a longtime communicant of St. Clare's Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Victor W. O'Toole and her son William J. O'Toole Sr. She is the beloved grandmother of William J. O'Toole Jr (Kelly) and Shannon Baehr (Michael). She is the adoring great grandmother of Brianna Baehr. Sister of Helen Derenzo. She is the dear aunt of Nancy and Judith. Betty is survived by many dear friends and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 8:30 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Clare's Church at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes.
