Elizabeth A. Passafiume

Elizabeth Ann Passafiume, 88 years of age, wife of the late Joseph G. Passafiume, Passed away Saturday November 23rd at her home in Latham N.Y. Born January 1st, 1936 to the late Anna Durivage & Arthur Durivage of Troy N.Y. 

Elizabeth attended Lansingburgh High School in her hometown of Troy N.Y. then quickly got into the workforce by getting a job at Williams Press Printing, where she ended up meeting her soon to be husband (Joseph), who also worked for the same company. She worked there for 25 years before moving onto Whitehurst Printing before ending up at Boyd Printing, where she ultimately retired from. 

Elizabeth was a long-time resident of Menands N.Y. then later in life, ended up Latham N.Y. Where she was survived by her Children, Joseph Passafiume (California), Dawn Riccardi (Rick) (Florida), and Dave Passafiume (Watervliet). Elizabeth loved her grandchildren very dearly, The late Brianna Lyn Passafiume, Joseph Lawrence (Wife- Ariel), Fransesca Brianna, Albert Joseph (AJ), and Great Grandson Adam Joseph. She was also survived by her brother Art Durivage (Mary Beth) and sister, Linda. As well as Mary Short, Lori Carrasco, and Kelly Ross. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Anyone that truly knew mom, would tell you she loved 2 things more than anything in this world. And that's her Family, and her New York Mets! She would truly be loved and missed forever.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, New York 12189 on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with a funeral service to begin at 6pm.
