Elizabeth Vermette-Lachance

Elizabeth Vermette-LaChance died peacefully September 21, 2007 at her residence in Schenectady. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Helen Kretzler.
Elizabeth was a lifelong capital region resident. Her grandchildren were the most dear part of her life and they lovingly referred to her as "Old Biddy". She was an avid Bingo player often playing at the Bingo Palace in Schenectady.

She was predeceased by her first husband Joseph "Fred" Vermette and her daughter Patricia A. Robinson. She is survived by her husband Ronald Lachance, her children; David Vermette (Lori), Joseph Vermette, James Vermette (Tracey), Nancy Vermette (Rolon) and Bob Robinson, her grandchildren; Garrett, Lisa, Miguel, Jimmy, Ricky, Jose, Scotty and Shannon, and her great granddaughter Kinberlee. Elizabeth is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings; Madeline Frey, Edward Kretzler, Winnifred Ego and Leroy Kretzler Jr.
Services will be Monday at 10.00 AM New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services Monday at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
