Troy – Elizabeth C. Wood, 85 died Wednesday November 21, 2007, after a brief illness at St. Mary's Hospital.
Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Teresa (Wertman) Hoefer. Elizabeth attended and graduated local schools and was a lifelong capital district area resident. She was a homemaker and mother to her five loving children.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her three husbands; Herbert Dahlem, John Nowicki and Joseph Wood.
She is survived by her children; Herb (Ronnie) Dahlem, John Dahlem, Teresa (Robert) Costa, Thomas (Cynthia) Dahlem and Janet Fisher, thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be Monday at 9:00 am at St. Clare's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Clare's Church 1947 Central Ave., Colonie, NY 12205.
