COLONIE – Ella F. Smith, 99, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Born in Nassau, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Phoebe Chittenden. Ella was the wife of the late James F. Smith. She is survived by her loving children: Lillian (Lawrence) Mallery, James (Carole) Smith and Marilyn (John) Russell. Also surviving are eleven cherished grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.
At Ella's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie at the convenience of the family.
