Ella A. Ploof

Cambridge- Ella A. Ploof, 60, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Glen Falls Hospital with her loving husband by her side. Ella was the daughter of the late Theodore Tulip and Alice Tulip. Ella was the devoted wife to John G. Ploof.

Ella was born in Mt Vernon, NY and was raised in Cambridge, NY. She graduated from Cambridge High School and then attend Hudson Valley Community College and graduated in 1984. Ella was a loving, very cheerful, witty and sociable person. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, when able to do so play cards and bingo, Ella also enjoyed playing with her godchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ella is predeceased by her one and only child John G. Ploof, Jr.; her brother Edward Tulip, Sister in laws Helen (Havenbrook) Atkins and Dawn Bakerian and brother in law Daniel Ploof.

Ella is survived by her Brother in laws Henry, David Ploof and Richard (Marianna) Ploof.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, July 17th, from 10:00am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 11:00 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - Latham Chapel, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY. Burial procession will follow at St Mary's Cemetery, Troy, NY.
