SCHENECTADY – Ellan D. Reilly, 89, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in Bennington, Vermont.
Ellan was a resident of Schenectady for 83 years, and Hoosick Falls for 4 years. She liked knitting and needlepoint. Ellan also enjoyed puzzles and had a love for animals of all kinds.
Ellan was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Thomas J. Reilly.
She will be missed by her son Thomas W. Reilly (Joyce) of Hoosick Falls; grandchildren Josef G. Reilly (Corin) of Niskayuna, Zachary Boice of Buffalo, Kara Boice of Burbank, CA, and great-grandchildren Cassidy and Gabriel Reilly.
A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:30 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Brief prayers will follow at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. As Ellan was a great lover of animals, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA (www.aspca.org) by clicking the "Donate" button and then "Memorial Gifts."
