Ellen C. Clute

SCHENECTADY – Ellen C. Clute, 87, passed away on Thursday, May 07, 2009. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary DeLong. She had been a resident of Schenectady for all of her life. Mrs. Clute worked for the South Colonie School Central School District for over twenty years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle Church. Ellen was the beloved wife of the late Raymond W. Clute. She is the devoted mother of Robert Clute of Niskayuna, Raymond (Nancy) Clute, Jr. of Waterford and Richard Clute of Shrevport, LA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning at 9:00 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Schenectady. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2733 Albany Street, Schenectady, NY 12304 in memory of Ellen C.
