Ellen L. Stanhope

Rochester, NY - Ellen L. Stanhope, 91, passed away on Tuesday July 29, 2008. She was a longtime resident of Schenectady, before moving to Rochester in 2004. Ellen is predeceased by her husband, Alden H. Stanhope.
She is survived by her children: Janeen (Robert) Marquez of Fairport, NY; Sheila Stanhope of Albany NY ; A. Thomas Stanhope (Cynthia) of Louisville, KY and Michael (Karen) Stanhope of Fairport, NY.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren: Keith (Trina) Marquez of Penfield, NY: Robin (Bruce) Holmes) of Nashua, NH; Denise Marquez of Farmington, NY; Randall (Annette) Marquez of Wellington, FL.; Christopher Foster of Albany, NY, Janine Foster of Albany, NY; Paul Stanhope of Buffalo, NY: John Stanhope of Fairport, NY; Julie Stanhope of Fairport, NY and Alexander Stanhope of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday at the Newcomer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) from 2-4 pm. Private interment will follow at Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your charity of choice.
