Elly A. Rogers

Schenectady- Elly A. Rogers, 66, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 with loving family by side. Elly was the devoted wife to William Rogers, Jr. They shared 49 loving years of marriage. Elly was a loving, caring mother of five children and three grandchildren, who loved her dearly.

Elly enjoyed spending holidays and birthdays with her family and took great pride in her cooking, which everyone enjoyed. Elly was an entrepreneur, who ran her own cleaning service for the past 20 years.

Elly is survived by children, William (Carolyn) Rogers, III, Sonya (David) Rogers DeVoe, Kenneth Rogers, Marcus Rogers, and Alex Rogers; her grandchildren, Jack Rogers, Spencer Rogers and Julianna Rogers; and many loving friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Tuesday, November 28,2017 from 11:00 to 1:00 pm. A Graveside Service will follow at Memory Gardens.
