Elsie E. Adams
September 26, 1930 — March 18, 2017
Troy – Elsie E. Adams, 86, formerly of Troy, had been residing at Village Green Beverwyck, went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2017. Elsie was born on Sept. 26, 1930, the daughter of the late Kurt and Erna (Ehart) Starick.
Elsie worked for the NYS Worker's Compensation Board until retirement. She loved gardening, yoga and SHOPPING.
Elsie is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, George Adams; her children, Susan Bohley of Plattsburgh, Bruce Adams of Albany, Carol (Stephen) Mahar of Colonie, Roxanne (Joseph) Koczaja of Voorheesville, Patricia (Larry) Hart of North Greenbush, and Laurie Adams of Southport, North Carolina; and six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, with one on the way.
Elsie was predeceased by her daughter, Jean Marie Bishop and her only sister, Hattie (Don) Dilliplane.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 9:30 am. Interment will be at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at 12:00 pm
