June 1, 1934 — March 7, 2022
Elsie LaDuke, 87 of Voorheesville, NY, died peacefully at home on Monday March 7th surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Louis, daughter Christina, granddaughter Crystal Gaffunder, brothers Jimmy, Fred and sister Dorothey.
She is survived by brother Eddie, her daughters, Victoria LaDuke and Loucinda (Michael) Walsh; grandchildren Gary Graffunder, Domenica (Jon) Wagoner, Timothy (Mary) LeClair, Keith LeClair and Justin Phillippe; great grandchildren, Savannah, Alivia, Alex, Nicholas, Hailey, Zoey and many nieces and nephews.
Elsie was a member of the St. Matthew parish of Voorheesville and friend of Father Chris. She was an artistic person with a flair of stitchwork, creating quilts and sewing with her daughter Chrisi.
Elsie was a social person who enjoyed traveling and adventures with Louie and her family. This included camping with their RV, boating, riding with the Spitzie's Roamers Motorcycle Riding Club and spending time with and talking about her family. She could commonly be found at local establishments chatting up both the workers and clientele. Elsie had common ground with these places as she herself spent many years as a waitress and would eventually have a working career as a bus aide with the Guilderland Central School District.
Elsie had touched the lives of so many and will be greatly missed as she was so loved.
