Elsie M. Pierce

Feura Bush- Elsie M. Pierce, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 13, 2016 at Albany Medical Center. She was 81 years old.
The daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Liddle) Relyea, Elsie was born on July 31, 1934 in Schoharie, NY. Elsie worked for many years for the Parrott House in Schoharie.
Elsie was proud of her large family and loved to tell everyone about how many grandchildren and great-grandchildren she had.
Elsie is survived by her children: Christine Roe, Marsha Noland and Terry Brown; her 25 grandchildren with Teisha (Shane) Wintle, Lacey (Joe Pickett) Brown, and Jessica (Jon Youmans) Brown being very close to her; her 43 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Jeanette Seale, Donna (Ron) Jones, and Janice Duncan; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and her beloved feline companion of 15 years Ashe.
In addition to her parents, Elsie was predeceased by her husband Ira F. Pierce; her son Dale Brown; her siblings: Mickey Borst, Albert "Sonny" Relyea and Bill Relyea and her brother-in-law Reggie Duncan.
Memorial visitation will be from 11am to 12:30 pm on June 25, 2016 at Lynnwood Reformed Church, Carman Road, Schenectady, NY 12303. A memorial service will follow from 12:30 pm to 1pm at the church.
Memorial donations may be made in Elsie's name to your local humane society.
