Elsie Muriel, 76, of Colonie, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, August 6, 2018 with her loving family by her side.
Born in New York City on November 2, 1941, Elsie was the daughter of the late R. Cruz and Andrea Rodriguez.
She was the devoted wife of Juan Muriel. Loving mother of; Deborah Morales-Rivera, Janice Morales and Doreen Aguilar (Carlos). Cherished grandmother of Aaron Aguilar (Melanie), Jasmine Aguilar, Victor Diaz, Vanessa Rodriguez and the late Jasmine Lopez who passed away in 2001. Elsie was also the beloved great grandmother of Elsie Polanco. Dearest sister of Lillian Denton (Vincent). Loving aunt of; Vanessa Garcia, Melody Diaz and Yvette Diaz. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Elsie will be forever remembered for her kindness, her love for her family and being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Relatives and friends may call 4-7 PM, Friday, August 10th at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Offered at 9AM, Saturday, August 11th at the Church of St. Clare, 1947 Central Avenue, Colonie. Please assemble at the church. Interment will follow the mass in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
