Elsie M. Trimarchi, 92, wife of the late Joseph A. Trimarchi, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Teresian House surrounded by her cherished family.
Born on December 6, 1929, in Albany NY, she was born to the late Dominick Indelicato and Angela Pagano, and also the beloved daughter to Dominica Indelicato.
Elsie was a graduate of St. John's Academy, Albany NY and was retired from New York State, OGS. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker and loved taking care of her family. Throughout her life, she found great joy in spending time with her loved ones, camping, traveling, and gardening. For many years, Elsie loved and would look forward to cooking Sunday dinner of macaroni and meatballs for her children and grandchildren. Her homemade chicken soup was a family favorite.
Elsie was the loving mother to eight children, Anthony (Avalon), and survived by Angela (Donald Sislowski) Groelz, Joseph (Susan), Vincent, Dennis (Barbara), Mary (Michael) Donahue, Dominick (Patti), Carmen (Colleen); her darling sister Pauline Fleszar; grandmother to 26 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Salvatore Indelicato, Anthony Cannone, and sisters, Josie Goodall and Lena Padula.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 4:00pm- 7:00pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals located at 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, July 2 2022 at 10:30 am at Saint Ambrose Church 347 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110. Interment to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery 48 Cemetery Ave, Menands, NY 12204.
