Emelia G. Plue

SCOTIA - Emelia G. (Korniak) Plue, 96, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 22, 2009.
Born in Amsterdam, NY on March 21, 1913, she was the daughter of the late John and Victoria Korniak. She was the beloved wife of 71 years to the late Bradford A. Plue.
Emelia is survived by her daughter, Gloria (Plue) McCormack and her husband, Richard of Rotterdam; five grandchildren, Sabrina (Wynn), Judy, Kevin (Nancy), Erin (Steve) and Kyle (Joyce); sixteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Chester and Roman Korniak; her sister, Frances Podgorski and her grandson, Keith McCormack.
She worked over the years at various occupations but retired as custodian, from the Guilderland Central School Systems.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Pilgrim Holiness Church. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment Fairview Cemetery in Altamont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Emelia's name to Pilgrim Holiness Church, 2105 Curry Rd., Schenectady, NY 12303, of which she was a devoted Christian member.
