Emily V. Williams, of Bowman, South Carolina, 93, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Emily was the daughter of the late Thomas and Verneta Bruce. Emily was the devoted wife to the late Deacon Freddie Williams. They were married over 30 years before Freddie predeceased her.
Emily was a bank teller at Fleet Bank, where she retired after 17 years.
Emily is survived by her sons, Howard M. Williams (Frankie) and Nathan Williams; her grandkids and great grandkids.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, on Thursday January 6, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Colonie.
