Eric Edward Griesemer, 55 of Center Valley, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 5, 2023, after succumbing to a long illness.
Eric was born on January 22, 1968, to Edward and Joyce Griesemer (Heffner) in Schenectady, NY. He graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1986 and went on to attend Springfield College, Clarkson University and the Beasley School of Law at Temple University.
Throughout his career, Eric wore many hats professionally and was best known for the beautiful customized homes his company designed and built over the years in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania.
Beginning at an early age, Eric developed a passion for athletics and competed in football, baseball and wrestling throughout his high school years. While attending Springfield College, he was a member of their nationally renowned wrestling program. Eric was known to deeply care about his family and friends. He never missed a holiday or birthday and always put others first in his life.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents; Freeman and Margaret Heffner; his paternal Grandparents; Charles and Patricia Woods, his cousin Lynda Tedford, and his godmother, Paula Mountain.
He is survived by his parents, Edward and Joyce Griesemer, his three brothers: Brian (Heather)Griesemer, Scott (Marisol) Griesemer and Craig Griesemer, his uncle and aunt Timothy and Alexandra Woods of Myrtle Beach, SC, his aunt Karen Fresoni (Heffner) of Taunton, MA and his two children Hannah Griesemer and Blake Griesemer of Quakertown, PA., along with many other relatives including numerous nephews and cousins.
Thank you to the doctors, nurses and support staff of both Lehigh Valley Hospital and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for the care, love and support they gave to Eric.
A celebration of Eric's life will occur at the New Comer Funeral Home location on Saturday May 13, 2023 from 11AM –1PM, with a service at 1PM.
A Christian burial will follow at St. Joseph's cemetery on Kings Road in Schenectady.
