Erika B. Coughlin

Erika B. Coughlin, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Erika was the daughter of the late Engelbert and Marie Siebenhuter.

Erika was the devoted wife to the late Eugene Coughlin.

Erika was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a master gardener, loved knitting and was an avid artist.

In addition to her parents and her husband she was predeceased by her daughter Donna Barden and her siblings Helene Parisi and Ludwig Siebenhuter.

Erika is survived by her children, Patricia Barden, Roberta "Bobbie" Schermerhorn and her husband Michael and Heidi Black. She is the cherished grandmother Jared (Melody) Ellott, Matthew (Amanda) Adams, Morgaine Stellone, Michael Schermerhorn and Vladimir Packard.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY on Tuesday June 11, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens, Colonie.

The family would like to thank the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints for all of their kind support given to our mom. A special thanks to John and Reeta Zowtiak.
