Erminio Votino

COLONIE- Erminio "Harvey" Votino, 91, of Colonie, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at St. Clare's Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn and was the son of the late Clement and Maria Michele Votino.
Harvey had worked for Camelot AMC and Langan Volkswagon before his longtime association and eventually as a partner with Edgerton Kalamazoo Heating in Schenectady. He was a longtime communicant of St. Clare's Church. Harvey was predeceased in 2003 by his beloved wife of 67 years, Frances Palella Votino.
He is the father of Donna Votino and her husband Geoffrey Hudson of Colonie and Harvey Votino and his wife Carol of Lake Park, FL. Brother of William Votino of Sparr, Fl., Clementine McMahon (James) of Amsterdam, Nicolo and Albert Votino of Florida and the late James, George and Louis Votino. He is the grandfather of Victoria Greene, James Votino (Esther), Christopher Votino, Erin Wippich, Brynn Patterson (Shawn) and Allyn-Ann Wippich. Great grandfather of Thomas Greene, Alicia and Alexandria Votino. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 8:30 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Clare's Church at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Clare's Hospital Foundation, 600 McClellan Street, Schenectady, NY 12304 in memory of Mr. Votino.
