Ernest F. Bazan, Jr., 84, passed away on July 14 2024, at home with his loving wife, Josephine, by his side.
Born in Albany on February 2, 1940, he was the son to the late Ernest & Mary Bazan, Sr.
Ernie was a graduate of Columbia High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College. He was a self employed contractor. In his spare time, Ernie enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and especially spending his winters in the Florida Keys with his beloved wife, Jo.
He was predeceased by his brother Joe & his sister in law Chiya of Alaska.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine; daughter, Victoria Schramek (Michael); son, Ernest (Barb Hankle); grandchildren, Jared, Alyssa, Rachel, Zachary (Amber), Blake (Monica); great-grandchildren, Piper, Kinzlee, Sawyer, Brooklynne, Easton, Penelope & Maddison; sisters, MaryEllen Boynton (Walter) of Maryland and Dorothy Bazan-Greene (David) of Massachusetts; and his four nieces.
At Ernie’s request, there will be no services.
