Ernest G. Livingston

ALBANY, NY – Ernest G. Livingston, 68, of Albany, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at home. He was born in Albany and raised in Guilderland, and was the son of the late Clyde and Winifred Livingston. Ernie lived in Albany for most of his life. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving his country from 1957 through 1960. Ernie was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He enjoyed fishing and softball and was an avid N.Y. Giants and N.Y. Yankees fan. Ernie is the father of Mark J. (Dawn-Marie) Livingston of Guilderland and Martin J. Livingston of Phoenix, AZ. He is the brother of LeRoy Livingston and Claudia Huneau. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Joseph Mark, Shawn John and Amanda Dawn Livingston as well as five nieces, 3 nephews and many close friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 9:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
