ALBANY – Errol Fraser, 62, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Errol was born on September 20, 1942 in Guyana to the late Joseph and Alberta George Fraser.
Errol was an Education Officer for the Ministry of Education in Guyana. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Foresters Court Georgetown Lily #6869, an active member of the Transfiguration Anglican Church where he was a lay minister, an active member in the Peoples National Congress and a member of the National Elections Commissions all in Guyana. He was also active at the Grace and Holy Innocents Episcopal Church in Albany.
Errol is survived by his wife, Grace Joy Luke-Fraser; his children, Odessa and Odette Fraser, Arnold (Jennifer) Williams, Karen (Nigel) Belle and the late Errol Fraser Jr.; his brother, Kenneth Fraser; his grandchildren, Rishawn, Chelsey and Brittney Belle and Oriel and Odessia Williams. Cousin of the Frasers', the Halls', the Pollydores', the Williams', the Reynolds', the Robinsons', the Georges', the Carmichaels', the Adams', the Mitchells', the Wilsons' and the Nedds'. Brother-in-law of Waveney Pollydore and Joan Archer. Friend of Fitzroy Collins, Ashton Parris and Elaine Williams. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
A Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Grace and Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, 498 Clinton Ave. (at Robin St.) in Albany. Interment will follow at Memory's Garden in Colonie.
Calling hours will be held at the New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
