Estell Faulkner, 90, passed peacefully away on May 14, 2014.
She was born in Roseton, NY, on September 12, 1923.
Estell was an LPN with Albany Medical Center for over 31 years. She was a member of Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church of over 55 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Estell was preceded in death by her loving husband Mabin of over 60 years and a host of sisters and one brother.
Estell is survived by her children, Rodney Faulkner, Renee Faulkner, Cedric (Dorothy) Faulkner and Regan "Mike" (Aleta) Brand. She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, her sister, Nannie McMillan, her sister-in-law Noy Shealy, her nephew Danny Scott, her niece Frazell (Sidney) Cunningham, her special daughter, Caprice Cannon and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 12:00 pm at Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 24 Ten Broeck Street, Albany, NY 12210. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow the service at Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
