ALBANY - Estelle Rose Toth, 96, of Albany passed away peacefully on June 25th 2011 at the Teresian House.
Born in Albany to Charles and Maryanna Zelka, Estelle lived all of her life in Albany and Colonie. She attended St. Casimir's Polish Catholic School. Estelle was married to the late Andrew J. Toth. She was also predeceased by her parents, her four sisters and one brother; Rosemary Poole, Catherine Holland, Sophie Zeller, Jean Garrah and Stanley Zelka.
Over the years she worked in several industries including glove, shirt and dress factories. Estelle also worked at several retail establishments including W.T. Grant and S. S. Kresge. In later years she worked as a homemaker.
Estelle is survived by her son John A. (La Raine) Toth of Schenectady, her daughter Karen A. (Guy) Comparetta of Guilderland, four grandsons, Daniel and David (Renee) Toth, Vincent (Heather) and Gregory (Shannon) Comparetta; five great-grandchildren, Tyler and Sarah Toth, Andrew, Vincent and Nicholas Comparetta; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11:00 at the Infant of Prague Chapel at the Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave Ext., Albany. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
