Esther J. Baxter
June 7, 1925 — June 30, 2017
Scotia - Esther J. Baxter, 92, peacefully passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 while with her loving son. Esther was the daughter of the late Esther and Einar Johnson, and was the devoted wife of 48 years to the late John A. Baxter.
Esther was a Mother to all. She enjoyed raising and spending time with her son, especially participating her time throughout his school years. In her spare time, she helped tutor children. Teaching and education was her passion. Esther's favorite books were Biographies, any influential person or past President was of interest to her, and many of her Summers were spent in her house in Wellfleet, MA.
Esther will be forever missed by her son, John Baxter, along with other loved family members and friends.
In addition to her beloved husband, Esther is predeceased by her sister, Ruth Bourossa, brother in law, Curt Bourossa, brother, Merrill Johnson, and sister in law, Berneice Johnson.
Esther will join her husband in eternal rest at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY, the services will be held privately by her Son.
John would like to thank the staff at The Center Hoosick Falls for their compassion and care to Esther.
