Esther F. Meggison

ALBANY, NY---Esther Meggison, 96, died on January 20, 2014. She was born to the late Vasco and Noami Capellaro of Danbury, Connecticut on November 13, 1917. She lived the last twenty years of her life in Guilderland, NY. She is survived by her daughter Joan Linton (Charles), her son, Vincent Meggison, her granddaughter Sara Linton, two cherished great-grandsons, her brother Allan Capellaro (Kathy), and a nephew of Brookfield, CT. She was predeceased by her daughter, Carol Abbotts, and her beloved partner of 30 years, Ralph Sirois. Esther worked for many years as owner of Capellaro's Insurance Agency and also had her own income tax preparation business. She was devoted to her family and friends, and she loved entertaining and cooking for them. She was a beautiful and gracious lady who will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Our family would like to thank the staff at Baptist Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the kindness, care and support they provided during Esther' illness.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
