ALBANY- Esther L. Monaghan, 93, of Albany, passed away on Monday May 17, 2010 at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Cooperstown, NY and was the daughter of the late Orrin and Eva Butler Webster.
Esther was predeceased by her husband John W. Monaghan Sr. in 1984. She is the beloved mother of John W. (Burnetta) Monaghan Jr. and William J. (Anne) Monaghan. Esther is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Esther L. Monaghan.
