Esther G. Rockenstire

Esther G. Rockenstire, 56, passed away on Saturday February 24, 2024.

She was born in Albany a daughter of John J. and Irene (Haberman) Rockenstire. She attended Ravena Coeyman Selkirk District High School. Esther was employed for many years with the State of New York Dept. of Tax & Finance until her retirement.

Esther had a love for cats, motorcycles, fast cars and barbeque steak. She enjoyed Nascar and attended several races. She also had a knack for mechanics and worked for a couple of area garages. Above all, Esther loved her family with all her heart. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family.

Besides her parents, Esther is survived by her siblings, Cyndi Rockenstire and Michael (Amelia) Rockenstire; several nieces and nephews, Destini, Travis, and Mitchell Rockenstire and Cynthia Kurtz; a great niece and nephew, Cayden and Laila.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a celebration of life to immediately follow at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens.
